1) What is your band attire for a formal wedding?
Tuxedo Style Dress
2) When will you come and set up the equipment?
We arrive 2 hours before your guests arrive. We will have background music playing upon your guests arrival
3) How many outlets do you need?
2 household type circuits will run our entire show
4) If we want instrumental dinner music, do you provide, or do you play recorded?
Could be a hybrid of both -we ususlly have a CD/IPOD playing and eat right after the bridal party-as an option, while the majority of guests are beginning to get served we can transition to live light jazz.
5) If our wedding song is “At Last” by Etta James, will you be able to play this song via recording, and smoothly transition to playing other songs live for the wedding party dance and the other dances?
Yes we can seamlessly DJ anything without disrupting the flow of the evening then smoothly play the next song.
6) Will the band learn a song if we request it?
There are two parameters -As long as we can use it more than once + can we do justice to the song- If these items are satisfied, no problem!
7) Can we provide a “please play list”, and a “DO NOT play list”?
To a point this is exactly the type of info we will request from you to create the perfect playlist for your special day. We can play typical or atypical wedding songs.
8) Re; the music on breaks, can we request that the band have recordings of specific songs.
Yes, we carry a large library of Cd's & 2 loaded ipods you are welcome to supply your own mix as well.
9) Who acts as the Emcee…does one of the band members?
Yes we have two members that can MC the entire evening (different Styles)
10) Are you willing to make other announcements, such as the wedding party entering the hall or when the bar closes?
Yes we take care of all announcements
11) How much is the deposit?
Our security deposit is currently $800 to reserve the date.
12) When is the balance due?
10 days before the wedding reception please.
13) Do you require a meal?
Due to the extremely long hours a wedding presents-customarily we are fed -6 members & crew. (Does not have to be what your guests are having if you pay by the plate)
14) Do you have back up musicians in the event one of you gets sick?
We do have a number of backups however we have never cancelled a job in our 20 year history.
15) What is your schedule-when do you start, when do you end, how long are sets, how long are breaks?
Typical set is 1 hour. Breaks are 15-20 minutes. Dance music begins after formalities-Bouquet toss/Garter-Bridal Dances Etc... We usually play until it's time to leave/Bar Closing etc..
16) Do you take requests from guests?
If we know the song yes, if we don't we can DJ it on breaks
17) Do you offer coordinator service?
We will work with you to ensure the event is on schedule & the flow of activity remains on track. Per your itinerary we also help to ensure the photographers/videographers document all the highlights of the evening.
18) Do you provide a microphone for use for toasts & blessings?
We provide a high quality wireless microphone for your use through our state of the art sound system. Everyone will hear exactly what is being said.
19) Will my guests be able to talk at the tables when the band is playing without screaming?
Our sound system is of the highest quality possible it allows Trilogy to keep the dance floor "Hot" yet be at a comfortable volume at the tables for even your oldest guests. Remember we entertain everyone and know how to keep all guests engaged.
20) How do I know if you are a reputable group?
We are members of the Better Business Bureau with an A+ rating & are an established business (most bands can't claim this) We can put you in touch with past Brides & Grooms to ask questions yourself. We stand on our reputation as a quality vendor for 20 years!
